How It Works
Competitors will have 15 minutes to craft the perfect cup of coffee using the classic Moka Pot. Precision, cleanliness, and expert narration will play a key role in scoring. No additional ingredients allowed—just pure, rich coffee perfection.
Competition Format
Setup Time: 5 minutes
- Competition Time: 15 minutes
- Judging Criteria: Aroma, Taste, Bitterness, Technical Execution, Presentation, and Cleanliness.
- Judging Panel: Three expert judges, including a senior judge, will evaluate each competitor’s performance.
Who Can Compete?
Open to all coffee lovers! Whether you're a home barista or a seasoned professional, you’re welcome to join.

Equipment & Rules
Coffee: Provided by Forsyth Coffee, competitors must grind their beans with their own or provided grinders.
- Water: Competitors may bring their own water but must disclose its type.
- Moka Pots: Bialetti 3-cup Moka Pots provided (or bring your identical model for inspection).
- Cups: Ceramic demitasse cups from Sanremo.
- Induction Hobs: Provided by the competition.
Prizes & Recognition
Winners will be announced at the award ceremony immediately after the competition. In the event of a tie, the fastest competitor wins!
